Missing

I have some photos of biscuits, cake and a valentine's day cards I want to post on here. The only problem is that I put my cable for the camera somewhere safe that I was most certain to be able to locate again. So much for being organized if I can't remember where I put something away at.

Welcome

This is my first blog ever.
Since, the point of the blog is to write in the present I would like to begin with the story of how I came to be here.
I moved to Atlanta from Long Island (pronounced Lawnguyland by the natives) in the beginning of October 2009.
I live about 900 miles from 99% of the people in this world I love and care about.
Oddly enough despite that fact I'm feeling positive about my future here.
I've actually broke out the oil paints and dusted off the easel. I've been baking and cooking up a storm. And I'm constantly finding new ways to control the chaos of every day existence.
